Company Overview
Since our foundation in 2000, Parajet has become one of the most successful and groundbreaking manufacturers in the sport of paramotoring. At Parajet we are passionate about flying and about creating products that inspire the same level of excitement and thrill. That ethos underpins everything Parajet does.
In 2007, while completing an expedition to fly over Mount Everest by paramotor with TV adventurer Bear Grylls, Parajet founder Gilo Cardozo revisited his childhood dream of building a flying car. He envisioned a specialised lightweight chassis design, coupled with a unique high performance engine and paraglider wing. As a result, Parajet produced the first generation SkyCar and took it on a gruelling 7000km expedition from London to Timbuktu. The expedition tested the SkyCar to its very limits; from flying the Gibraltar Straits, to driving and flying in the Sahara. The concept of a flying car was proven and Parajet Automotive was born!
Today, Parajet Automotive, based in Dorset, UK, has established itself at the forefront of British aviation engineering and technology, and continues to design and develop the SkyCar through the application of total commitment, quality and performance. Parajet Automotive has at its nerve-centre a highly experienced design office, manufacturing and fabrication facilities and a SkyCar build station, all of which dovetail together to create the next generation of SkyCar and another leap in aviation.
