Reflex Technology

The new high speed Reflex wings are designed by Mike Campbell-Jones specifically for the SkyCar, they are to be made by Gin Gliders in Korea in time for the official launch in January.

Ballastics fitted

SkyCar drives back to the UK and all necessary modifications are carried out, the ballistic reserve parachute fitted and the wing connections system completely re-designed for increased stability and ease of handling.

Little test hops

SkyCar achieved Road Legal status and we drove the car to a local Dorset airfield for its first test hops. Successfully achieved its first flight with Neil and Gilo in the cabin. Flew for 300metres at approx 8metres high.

SVA

Made all necessary modifications to the transmission system and then arranged all the electrical wiring required for Road Legal approval…of SVA for short. Fitted head lamps, indicators, number plates etc etc And it PASSED, we are road legal.

The Chassis Start

SkyCar Chassis and running gear manufactured at Rage Motorsport Ltd in north London. New Yamaha RX1 Snowmobil shipped in from Finland and immediately stripped out the engine, all the electronics and the CVT drive system.
