Test Drive
Carried out first test runs of the new transmission system, took the SkyCar to Doddinggton race track and ragged it around to check gear ratios, gearbox temperature, reliability of belt drive and carry out thrust tests with propeller drive engaged at full rpm. Reached 95mph with wheel drive engaged…reached 82mph with prop drive engaged only.
