Driving Dreams - a fun evening of talks and auction

Driving Dreams, a fun evening of talks and auction on Monday 22nd November 2010 for the charity Mercy Corps.  McLaren Design Director Frank Stephenson will be talking about his passion for car design and the McLaren design philosophy, the explorer Neil Laughton will talk about his extraordinary trip across the Sahara Desert in a flying car and David Fox-Pitt will present a talk about an amazing trip from Darjeeling to Bhutan on Royal Enfield motorcycles raising money for Mercy Corps.

Mervyn Lee, Executive Director of Mercy Corps has agreed to introduce the speakers on the evening and McLaren have kindly donated various championship driver signed items for auction after the talks, conducted by Toby Kilner.

The Driving Dreams event is being held at the Commonwealth Club, 25 Northumberland Avenue, London WC2N 5AP.  The event is from 7.00pm till 9.00pm and there will be a bar from 6.30pm onwards.  The Commonwealth Club have also kindly opened up there exclusive members only restaurant for Driving Dreams guests.  To book a table please contact the club on 020 7766 9223. 

Driving Dream tickets are £20 each and can be obtained by emailing Leo Hall on .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with name, ticket quantity required, telephone number and postal address.  A return email will confirm allocated ticket numbers and an address to send a cheque made payable to Mercy Corps.  Alternatively, the total amount can be paid on http://www.justgiving.com/jon-hall leaving name and ticket numbers as reference.
